The Vermilion Lakes

Sometimes something special happens when you are just about to give up, muttering about rising early for nothing. It appeared as if it would become a dull sunrise (without sun actually) at the famous Vermilion Lakes, but then this beautiful opening in the clouds came up, framing the distant mountaintops very nicely. It's the little surprises that count, right?
