The Three Sisters

The Three Sisters are an easily recognisable, photogenic and well-known trio of peaks just outside the town of Canmore. Before receiving this name, they were called the Three Nuns. Possibly the renaming was done because "Sisters" was more protestant. Oh religion...

 Though invisible here, not too far from the foot of the mountain (the left here) a growing community is added to those of Canmore and Banff. Here too natural values are sacrificed for homes and tourism industry.
