Red Squirrel

The squirrels all over the place are extremely busy eating all they possibly can before winter starts. This unlucky animal was probably moving from one tree to another, hoping to find some more cones on the other side of the road, when a car hit it. Speed limits on the Bow Valley Parkway are strict (60km/h) to save wildlife, but many drivers don't heed them. Even if they do, a suddenly crossing squirrel can be hard to dodge... No more climbing in trees for this little fellow...
