Curious raven along the Icefields Parkway; Banff National Park

Before coming to Canada for the first time in 2003, I only knew ravens as being extremely shy. Here in the National Parks they are quite the opposite. This individual gives the perfect example. I had left the door of the car open for a quick shot, and this raven thought it would have a look to see if anything edible was inside. I was only about three meters away when I shot this and it didn't seem to mind all that much!
