Curious raven along the Icefields Parkway; Banff National Park

This magnificent fellow was quietly sitting along the shore of Bow Lake. When I got out of the car to make a photo of it, of course expecting it to fly away as soon as I opened the door, it just eyed me curiously. This image is taken from about three meters away. The only reason why it eventually flew away is shown on the following pictures.
